It aligns so well with the Proverbs 31 wife. I hope everyone enjoys it as I have. Biblical, affirming and challenging. It's called "The Wholehearted Wife: 10 Keys to a More Loving Relationship." Fresh in my mind is one of my favorite quotes, "Jesus is the ultimate source of our fulfillment in life. As our Creator and Savior, He is the only one who can affirm our value and meet our deepest needs. When our identities are anchored in Christ, the peace, freedom, and joy He gives us aren't dependent on our husbands or our marriages - or anything else!" I highly recommend it! http://www.tyndale.com/The-Wholehearted-Wife/9781624051463#.U6upS14Q7wIAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10837115727187800498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449640874194766052.post-85531647585120165062013-12-14T18:15:21.726-07:002013-12-14T18:15:21.726-07:00Wonderful explaination. Dr. Tony Evans and his daughter, Chrystal Evans Hurst, have written a new book called "Kingdom Woman: Embracing Your Purpose, Power, and Possibilities." It was their desire in writing it to "challenge women to look higher than where you are to whose you are, and to be transformed by the truth of being a Kingdom Woman." The book encourages women to set their eyes on Christ and to pursue what God has created them to be. It is true to that goal. I am thoroughly enjoying it and hope you will, too. They have also posted some free devotional downloads that are great on their website: kingdomwomanbook.com. Hope it blesses you as it has me!Heather B.http://kingdomwomanbook.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449640874194766052.post-82540054426697920282013-04-16T12:57:11.391-06:002013-04-16T12:57:11.391-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449640874194766052.post-60449378087588078052013-03-06T06:36:51.180-07:002013-03-06T06:36:51.180-07:00A very balanced Christian perspective. He's very much the modern man, but he is also a youth pastor and I'm sure just wants to tread carefully. I think it's wonderful that you have written about this.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14581901572800017125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7449640874194766052.post-13885464707717284602012-07-18T10:47:01.203-06:002012-07-18T10:47:01.203-06:00I do like this. Santa Claus and material gifts overshadow the true reason of Christmas. My husband and I have asked our family to only get us very inexpensive or homemade gifts for Christmas if they feel they must, but we'd rather that they donate money to places like International Justice Mission, World Vision, and Home of Hope.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14581901572800017125noreply@blogger.com
